I personally do not by CD’s of the artists listed on this list, but if you do, be aware that if you put the CD in a Windows XP computer, they can infect your computer with a program that phones home to SONY and BMG. Please inform yourself with this article, and protect yourself.

Congress discusses broadcast flag, analog hole proposals

But Rep. Howard Berman, a high-ranking California Democrat, said he was concerned over “the fact that mass indiscriminate distribution of unauthorized copies is still possible” and said Congress must prevent “abusive use of technology.”

When will the MPAA learn, they are such a dinosaur. I am all for them protecting their copyright, but once I buy the product, I own the right to use it on any device I own. I want my CBC back before I switch!
Switch from CBC!

I am in total disagreement with the way TELUS blocking access to the TWU members website for all people on their network. It makes me think ‘What else are they blocking’? TELUS is accusing the TWU of posting confidential information and telling its members to tie up customer support lines etc. If TELUS has a problem with this they should file an appropriate claim with the CRTC and other governing bodies.

Now what happens in the future when a group against say ‘cat juggling’ asks TELUS to block all sites containing this most disgusting and revolting crime of ‘cat juggling’. They can not say they can’t do that anymore! TELUS has opened up Pandora’s box, and it will be interesting to see what comes of this.

TELUS customers can pass this by using the following proxy URL http://vfc.proxy.pfak.org/.

Please pass this on to anyone you know on the TELUS network.
