Our second day in Vegas, did some wondering around on the strip, and took it easy.
We had a big lunch at the Mandalay Bay Buffet, wow what a buffet.
It is a show day, so I take a nap before the show.
We get the the venue early because it is a House of Blues venue and we want to make sure we can get out gear in. We can’t video, but audio is ok. The venue staff are very nice and accommodating. They setup a roped of section right in front of the sound board just for us, very nice. Since we are only doing audio, I set up my gear, and Mark is going to hang back and take care of everything, THANKS MARK! I then head up to front and center and enjoy the show. It is so different being that close and not having a video camera in my hand, this was a great show for me.
The boys put on a great show, Gord was really animated tonight, and during 100th Meridian, he was using the microphone as a brush and proceeded to paint the crowd.
We meet a few other hip basers, Nick and Craig, slways great to put names to pseudos. We will meet up with Nick again in LA. Also meet another taper, Andy and his wife Sarah, very nice couple.
In between sets Mona was messaging me updates from the Canuck’s game, they beat the Predators 2-0, nice I should have put down a bet, doh!
The show ended about 11:30, lots of drunks around so we head out pretty quick looking for a place to eat.
We were going to go to Jack in the Box, but ended up at In n Out burger.
Got back to the hotel at 12:30, went to bed at 1. It is travel day tomorrow, Anaheim is next.

We have arrived.
We started out today at 8AM, hit Tim’s and then continued to the boarder. We almost made it out of the country, and Mike calls from the office saying there is a problem with the fax’s on the server. We decide to reboot the server, but then it has a problem, long story short we finally got it working just before we got on the plane.
Bellingham airport is nice, will need to use this again for cheap flights. We leave right on time at 11:55 and arrive early in Vegas at 2:30. Weather is a little over cast, but it is warm. We grab our bags and grab a taxi to the hotel. We are staying in a place off the strip, so we are not expecting much for $50. We see a drug deal on the street a block away. The hotel is nice, recently renovated, very clean.
We dump our baggage in he room and take a 10 minute walk to In n Out burger, hmm very good. We then head out to find where the House of Blues is, nice small venue.
We walk around the strip, taking pictures and walking through the casinos. We get messages from Mark, saying he is getting close to Vegas, he arrives and picks us up outside of the Harley Davidson restaurant at 7:30, he made great time from Colorado.
We go for dinner at a Mexican place, interesting and will not go back. It is time for bed, it has been a long day and my feat are killing me.

While a few commands, such as ‘cd’ are built directly into bash; many of the most important commands come from coreutils, a GNU package containing over a hundred commands.
Some are the well known commands such as ‘ls’, ‘mv’ and ‘cat’. While there are some more obscure ones that are not always discovered because there are also more modern programs that can do similar jobs.
