You fuckin bastards! Just remember how fuckin small surrey is wen you finally come home motherfuckers.

I needed to get this out.

We meet this nice girl Heather at the show, she has been a Hip fan for some time, and this is her first Hip show. Tony went up front with her, and I guess he decided to hang out with her after the show. So we left him behind and said he needs to be back at the hotel by 8AM, we were not happy about splitting up, but he is a big boy that can make big boy decisions. We were staying about 20miles outside of LA, a place with 22 freeways, and we needed a GPS to get around.

He did make it back, we woke up to find his suite case gone. He left a message on my phone about a message at the front desk, and call me on the number on the message. Why could he not leave it on the voice mail or leave a message in the room? I went to the front desk and there was not message. This has been typical behavior with Tony. Mark is a very easy going guy, and to piss him off, someone has to be a real asshole!

This has really put a damper on the trip. Mark wants to head home, and that puts me in a tight spot. I want to go to San Fransisco and the rest of the shows, and Mark came out here just for us, to have an on road experience. It was not to just see The Hip, they are just the catalyst to bring us together with a single objective. The best part of these things is the journey, not the destination.

I can not say anymore because it will be full of rage, and very colorful language.

We are heading to the coastal highway, and I hope that calms us and puts us in a better mood.

Heading out the door, it is travel day to San Fransisco.
Here are a couple of links to keep you going till I update my blog.

Woke up to a beautiful day in Southern California, did not have a problem with flies, but then we did not have any fruit ;)

Mark and I both did our geek stuff with organizing our recordings and catching up on emails etc. We are taking it easy today, enjoying the rest.

We head down to the House of the Mouse at 2:00, to pick up the tickets and to do some exploring before the show. There are cheerleaders everywhere, must be some sort of convention going on. Quagmire would be in heaven here, Giggity giggity!

Picked up the tickets from will call, and doors are at 8, it is 3 now so we had some time to kill. We did not want to go into the theme park so decided to first have lunch at Tortilla Jo’s. The crispy tacos were very good, prices a little high though.

To kill some time we decide to catch a movie at the AMC complex. Nice reclining seats and the arm rest move out of the way. Wanted to catch Reign Over but it was too late, so we had no choice but to see 300. Not a bad movie, had some good bits. I give it a 7 out of 10.

The movie ran a little longer than expected and we had to head back to the car to grab our gear. We got back to the venue at 7:15 and a few people were in line. We check with the box office and the security guard and confirm that taping is ok, so we get in line. When we get to the security pat down, we are told no we can not bring our gear in. We explain that we were told it was ok, but they need to get clearance. So we now have to wait for then to get a hold of production. We get the ok for audio, so Tony and I let Mark go in and setup, while we take the rest of the gear to the car.

Not too much new stuff played tonight, and the cover was Mr Soul by Niel Young.

We are thinking of going to Universal Studios tomorrow and do some of the tourist things.

I upload more photos from our wondering around Downtown Disneyland.

I have gone 5 days without WoW, I am starting to get withdrawals, I need a quest to complete!

It is travel day, check out is at 11, so enough time to catch up on the blog a send some files to Chris . Vegas was nice, but once you have been a few times, it is a little boring. Mark loads up the gps and we head out of town. It is 200 miles the the venue in Anaheim. We want to see where it is so we can get a hotel. Mark was there in 2002, but we want a place in between this and the LA venue.

We travel about 100 miles before we stop for fuel & food at a small town called Baker, Bobby Baker Mark says. Baker is home of the worlds largest thermometer. We eat at Big Boy, good food and cheap prices.

We continue our journey across the desert with my iPod cranking out Wintersleep. We run into traffic, Mark exclaims ‘ how the F can there be a traffic jam in the middle of the desert!’

The land is barren on our trip to California, we wounder how people can live out here in these little towns, there is nothing out here. Mark and I talk some shop. We all talk about some of the tidbits Mark left on his blog, and how the hipbase will be exploding with speculations. on some of the new concert dates out west and east.

Traffic is moving again, seems to be no reason for the slow down. Were is Ponch Mark say’s, so i start humming the Chips theme.

Sam Robert is on the iPod now. We start seeing signs of civilization. We pass through Barstow, and back to the barren desert sand.

3pm and we are in Palmdale.
There are snow capped mountains to the west. Looks like home.

LA 73 miles.

We start to get into heavier traffic, I am the navigation so I am checking where the next turn is, I screw up and the computer is screaming OFF ROUTE! Dam it gets lippy! I hit the recalculate and we are routed back to the highway we should on.

I spot a sign to the Arrow Head pond, then we see an arena off to the left that has Honda signs all over it, thats right they changed the sponsor of the arena, guess they are still updating some of the road signs. We make our way and, there is Micky! Mark wants to kick him in the but, we laugh and continue on.

We drive by the venue, and continue on. We end up in Santa Fa Spring, good rates and most importantly fast internet. The internet is not wireless and we has no router, so we need to find a computer store. We walk over to a Lowes to see if they have anything and Tony sees a guy on a pedal bike run into the side of a car. Everyone is ok, and Tony and Mark go over to a County sheriff we saw parked up the street and report the accident.

Lowes did not have what we want to we get directions to Circuit City. We grab a Linksys wireless, and we are happy.

We hook up the router and head next door to Carl Jr. I am getting sick of burgers so I had a salad, not bad.

Not sure what we will do tomorrow am, I am sure we will find something to do. We just have to keep Mark away from a curtain Mr M. Mouse.

Good Night.
