What can I say but WOW what a show!
I am glad we got there early which enabled us to stake out a great spot from up top along the rail, with a seat. The sound and the songs were great! Best version of ‘At The Hundreth Meridian’ I have heard!
We also meet some other hard core Hip fans Alastair and his wife Andrea. I also talked to Matt who recorded the show, hope it turns out great. Enjoy the DVD!
A big hi to the Woman that sat beside my wife, she came to the show with her son who had lost his wallet and could not buy the tickets himself. The owner of the credit card had to be there to collect the tickets bought through the hip club. Great Mom!
This show reminded me when I saw the 15 years ago at 86street when they were on tour of Up to Here!
I handed out a few DVD’s of the show from the QE and left one for the band.

Adrian - hey there - many thanks for the dvd and the good cheer - fantastic shots especially of the set list which i printed out and plan to frame with my ticket and an autographed copy of music at work i bought off ebay - one small item it is alastair not andrew but who’s counting - enjoyed meeting you and yours and it proved to andrea that great things always happen at hip shows - name any other concet where you can raise a glass and get a dvd ! , you made the show that much better and what a show it was, just amazing - looked for a review in the sun today and saw nothing, i’ll keep looking, show of the year as far as i am concerned - anyway thanks again and here’s to the hip ! (and your impending marriage - like the countdown clock very much)
