This is why they would not let me video tape!

The Tragically Hip completed their mini club tour in front of a packed house last night at The Mod Club (Toronto). Hopefully, you had a chance to hear the performance simulcast live on your local rock radio station. If you missed it, be sure to watch the entire concert including the 30 minute post live to air performance on sympatico.msn.com! Sympatico will air the webcast, which was shot entirely on HD on July 22nd. The band’s latest recording IN BETWEEN EVOLUTION is now available in stores. We hope you’re enjoying it.

What can I say but WOW what a show!

I am glad we got there early which enabled us to stake out a great spot from up top along the rail, with a seat. The sound and the songs were great! Best version of ‘At The Hundreth Meridian’ I have heard!
We also meet some other hard core Hip fans Alastair and his wife Andrea. I also talked to Matt who recorded the show, hope it turns out great. Enjoy the DVD!

A big hi to the Woman that sat beside my wife, she came to the show with her son who had lost his wallet and could not buy the tickets himself. The owner of the credit card had to be there to collect the tickets bought through the hip club. Great Mom!

This show reminded me when I saw the 15 years ago at 86street when they were on tour of Up to Here!

I handed out a few DVD’s of the show from the QE and left one for the band.
